why does deviantart have journals? i noticed this just now. perhaps to say, oh, i bought a camera. i picked it up. i learned hot to shoot with it too. oh, i drew, i am drawing still. the computer's my paper, pen and inspiration. i guess i am supposed to say i love photographs and love taking them and that my cameras are so brilliant and lively and that i'm as exciting as to have put stickers on my 400$ nikon of unicorns and flowers, but i'm not, and who knows if photographs for me are just my eyes or if they're another world all together and, hey, for all i know, they're just a phase. most other things are, right? like web designing when HTML was still exciting or music when it wasn't massproduced by every recorder-wieldling elementary school student. all i know is that i take what i see, or wish i could see, and then let the image speak for itself thereafter. what is any form of art, if not a self-expression of all the things that could and should be?

i somewhat want a 'Deviantart Prints. Huge.' account, but who would buy them, i wonder.
